Industry-Academia Cooperation R&D planning and the strengthening of the Regional-Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation framework to address regional community and industrial issues 

Propulsion Purpose

  • Identification of field-driven R&D and expansion of a continuous Cooperation Framework through the establishment of a network platform (Hub & Spoke model) for sharing field issues in Regional-Industry-Academia-Research
  • Securing future growth drivers for regional strategic industries by creating new technologies, new products, and new services in the process of solving shared field issues
  • Enhancement of regional R&D capabilities and advancement into a shared growth model among Industry-Academia-Research and Local governments through the operation of a continuous network platform

Program Content

  • Support for the operation of the “Future Technology Research Group (Working Group),” which regularly exchanges opinions through the formation of a Regional-Industry-Academia-Research consultative body, for Industry-Academia Cooperation R&D and education planning for Industrial enterprise employees that accord with POSTECH RISE Specialized Fields (semiconductor, bio, battery, hydrogen, steel/AX, AI), and for the identification of regional community/industrial issues and innovation agendas (including Living Lab Project planning etc.)
  • Support for regular exchange activities such as meetings, workshops, discussions, and joint research among Regional-Industry-Academia-Research experts for the identification of detailed technology trends and future technology identification
